Yesterday I finally got a chance to sit and work on a Rolife kit for the first time since before Christmas. I was initially planning to customise this kit a lot but I really just needed an easy straight forward build this week so I decided to leave it mostly all the same. I did make some tiny changes like ribbon colour in some parts but that’s all.
This kit is rated 4.5 stars for difficulty. It did have some more challenging parts but it was mostly very straight forward and took me roughly 4 hours to complete.
The small details in this kit are just so precious! I really loved making the fabric and ribbon reels so sweet!
I hope you enjoy my photos and if you get the chance to build Elsa’s Tailoring I highly reccommend, a really enjoyable build
Thanks! I would have loved to add some more personalisation like you did, but I’m just not up for it right now and was busting to do this one. It’s luckily so nice on its own I’m still so happy with it
I think your finer details are so precise… unfortunately mine isn’t …. Your roll of ribbons is so perfect I think I need to redo mine. Did you change the dress on the mannequin, yours looks beautiful
Thank you I changed the ribbon on the dress to pink instead of yellow and I left the bottom piece of ribbon off that is supposed to run along the top of the lace at the edge of the skirt. I just didn’t love it with the yellow. I would have liked to use red but I didn’t have any on hand so just used what was in the kit.
I love the details and I love the pink ribbon on the dress! It’s a nice change!
And I agree as much as I want to customise everything it requires too much brain power. There are times where I just want to follow the instructions and build it as is.
It’s so sweet & nice~ I think the difficulty part is the fabrics & the ribbons, it will cause you to spend more time on it, but~ it can’t be denied that you will have a good result at your end. Happy that you’re enjoying it.
