I switched kits again and worked on Leo’s coffee truck for a while, it’s almost at the finishing line except the front is left to put together and quite a few details. One thing that’s testing me is the vase keeps falling, I changed the tape, glued it but it just doesn’t stick :joy: I wonder if it’s the weight of the flowers or the way I put it.

My first experience with plants and I didn’t know what to do, I will have to change the flowers to make it stick. The lights thankfully worked when testing but the roof kept making me panic.

Now for the part where the roof is not closing. Whenever I try to close it it keeps half open and when I use a bit force it closes but detaches from the base. Anybody else made this kit and faced this issue, I’d like to know if there’s a way to get it to fit nicely or shall I leave it as it is.

The part on the top front is also something I want to add a bit details to because it’s standing out a bit. Maybe green paint or some stickers to cover the brown design. A few pieces left to build and I’ll officially be done with this kit :sparkles:

I can’t recall if I had any issues like yours. It’s been too long. It is looking wonderful though.

I see, I find it just a bit of a problem that it doesn’t close properly, but that aside it’s certainly an extremely nice kit. Something a bit different looking than usual booknooks :sparkles:

Did you put away the tray when your closing the roof? I don’t recall having that issue when I built my van.

But it’s looking lovely so far @300

a lot of times the vase wont stand because it has a small base and the flowers will pull it over.Try some glue like 7000 or superglue. hold it in place with fingers or tweezers for 60 seconds. Usually that will do it.

I will try doing that, the wires for the stem are definitely too heavy for the tiny vase. Thank you @jeanneL :blush:

Yes, I’m so happy the windows and wires finally are in place. The rest looks pretty easy so I’m not too worried about it. Today’s whole day was just for building :grin:

Yes I did, took out the front piece attached to the counter. I feel there’s a wooden piece issue, might be a slightly bigger piece somewhere interfering. Thank you @Jill_Francisco I’m really pleased with the look of this one

Thank you @DeeLiza :blush: already had to cut off the flowers for the vase to stand upright. The roof is left to work with now

@300 it could be the weight of the flowers hun maybe cut them down a bit ?? I know a lot of people on the community have done this one so im hoping someone can help you with the roof .. but it looks fab :ok_hand::clap:
