Work was… super frustrating today, to say the least. I have this problem coworker and a spineless boss who has no idea how to be a boss, and I’m at my limit. Boss, me and another coworker who is just as frustrated as I am all had a lil chat today and bossman now knows that if the solution is to continue to do nothing then my solution is to look for another job
So to channel my frustration positively, I rearranged some shelves to dedicate to completed builds and Nanci/Suri.
Dang. Idk if you are open to violence but I know some Hard hittin Messicans who can change attitudes pretty easy. Just let me know. Nobody messes with my friends.

I’m sorry to hear that your workspace has become a bit toxic. I certainly hope that things can be worked out in your favor. If not, I wish you much success in your new job.
unfortunately, the problem actually predates me, I’m just too old to put up with BS anymore and am willing to be the bad guy to get things done
eta: I wouldn’t even call it toxic either, per se, to be more specific this person shows up hours late to work daily, and calls out at least once per week, and I’m the one who ends up picking up his slack. for some reason my (young) bosses have done absolutely nothing about it and refuse to fire him, and I’m putting my foot down lol
Ok so I am glad you were able to get things out in the open and it sounds like you have set some boundaries, It is never fun to think you have to leave a job, but sometimes what is ahead is so much better. I wish for you a beautiful and positive outcome!
Not cool to have such coworker and boss. I too have some issues at work right now and I can’t wait to go home and start on my kits to destress. My wallet was also crying for buying too much stuff due to this mess with work.
Spineless bosses are the absolute worst, even if they’re good managers they manage to turn work into a misery. I hate this for you. I hope that knowing you’ve got a foot out the door shakes some sense into your boss.
I hear yah!!! Same thing with me! The entitled coworker is not even showing up at the ofc and has the worst attitude too! Shifting the blame to me and not taking any accountability.
Such frustrating to think that you have to deal with this, no resolving matters would definitely make anyone leave and switch jobs. That’s one thing I cannot stand too. Well the display was a good distraction and a stress free time. This made me realize I also keep my Nanci medal boxed up poor thing
sorry to hear about the headache at work. i have been through that as well in the past and i have release it wasn’t the workplace that is toxic, its the actual people. once they are gone, the peace is regain.
