Hello fellow Rolifestyle friends!
I have recently come to an important realization…
I may have a crafting problem.
Not because I have too many DIY kits.
Not because I have too many tools.
Not because my craft room is slowly turning into a miniature warehouse.
Nope.
My real problem is this:
What happens to all my crafting treasures when I die? ![]()
Because I suddenly pictured my husband going through my stash and saying:
“How much did she pay for this?”
And then selling it for $5.
EXCUSE ME?! ![]()
That miniature kit cost me… $29.99.
(Okay, maybe it was $39.99.)
(Okay, fine… it was on sale for $49.99.)
But he doesn’t need to know all that! ![]()
And those crafting tools?
Some of them have never even been used.
They are not unused.
They are “waiting for the right project.” ![]()
And those unopened kits?
They are not hoarded.
They are “future happiness.”
I can already imagine my husband having a garage sale:
Husband: “How much for this?”
Neighbor: “$10?”
Husband: “Sure!”
Meanwhile, somewhere in the afterlife, I’ll be screaming:
“THAT WAS A LIMITED EDITION KIT!!!” ![]()

The funniest part is that crafters understand this perfectly.
We buy because it’s cute.
We buy because it’s new.
We buy because it’s on sale.
We buy because we might build it someday.
And sometimes we buy another one because…
“I don’t remember if I already have this.” ![]()
So maybe I need to leave my husband a very important document:
THE CRAFTING WILL
Rule #1: Do NOT sell my kits for what I told you I paid.
Rule #2: Do NOT assume everything was “only $10.”
Rule #3: If you see a box labeled “limited edition,” RUN.
Rule #4: Please understand that the stash is not clutter. It is my legacy.
Rule #5: Before selling anything, check with my crafting friends. They know the REAL value. ![]()
Until then, I guess I’ll just keep crafting, keep collecting, and keep strategically saying…
“It was on sale, honey.” ![]()
Because apparently, I’m not just building miniatures.
I’m building an inheritance. ![]()

Hope you all have a good laugh and a happy weekend full of crafting!
