Omg I just started Dora’s loft but I didn’t pay attention or realise it was DIY everything…. Measuring, cutting and glueing… this is going to be very slow going and I’ve already mucked up but luckily easy to fix. Definitely going to have to customise chair since used up fabric and none left lol.

Yes, with the old model kits, we had to do everything ourselves. It’s a shame to hear about some inconveniences. Regarding the chair, you could find other fabric alternatives. Who knows, it might be your own unique touch.
It’ll definitely turn out amazing

Thanks just looking at my fabric stash for a showstopper to make my chair.
Oh this is definitely a tricky one. I would say it’s probably the most difficult one I’ve ever made over the years. 
But just take it slow and steady and you’ll be up for the challenge! I have faith! And a different chair pattern will turn out amazing!

It is definitely challenging. This build will take ages, I may do another easier kit simultaneously for a break lol.

It’s okay to build the kit at your own pace especially if you have to do most of the stuffs by yourself. Just enjoy the process. 
I actually don’t want to buy any old kits that do everything from scratch. I am not fond of wire works at all

Haha welcome to Dora’s Loft!! This older kits are slow but so rewarding, and customising the chair will make it even more unique! Good luck!! 
I am not a fan of the older versions, mostly because my dexterity is not as good. But several on here LOVE the older versions! I think what helps is that you really are doing alot which means learning alot and this helps for future kits. Enjoy and celebrate your progress!

This is a nice kit. Everything need to be done from scratch. I think the stairs will be quite a challenge.
I regret not buying this when it was available locally! It’s sold out now! I have done a few of the harder kits and they take longer bit are so satisfying and I always learn so much building them! Enjoy the process
