Howls Moving Castle unboxing

Howls Moving Castle came very well packaged, complete with foam inside to protect it.

It came with the usual suspects when it comes to tools, although strangely enough, no tweezers. Oh well, I have dozens from every other set.

I discovered this set has clearly been opened. The thing that gave it away was that the bag the wax and screwdriver was in had been opened, and someone put 2 rubber finger covers in it which were not listed in the package contents. I did think that was why there were no tweezers, however I carefully went through everything and compared them to the list of contents and nothing was missing, and no tweezers were listed. No other wrappers or bags has been opened.

Lots of little helper markings, colours and text on the pieces to minimise getting things wrong.

Testing of the electricals is complete and everything is working and the build is underway.

I have just finished installing the gears on the second motor and the first pieces that will be moving the wings. So far everything has fitted together like a dream.

It sounds like this one is off to a really good start! I love all the little markings and color guides on the pieces,they should make the assembly much easier. And thankfully, everything was accounted for and the electrical test went perfectly! Can’t wait to see this Howl’s Moving Castle come to life!
