This morning was such a special mail day! ![]()
My grandma surprised me with the very last full-size Japanese shop I needed to complete my City Walk Japanese street collection — Choshi No Shitamachi, a beautiful Japanese izakaya! It means so much to me and I’m incredibly grateful for such a thoughtful gift! ![]()
One of the first details that caught my eye was the adorable little Shiba Inu sitting proudly at the front of the shop
He instantly stole my heart! Between the glowing lanterns, tiny food displays, cozy storefront, and all of the intricate details I already know this is going to be such a fun build
Once this kit is complete, my full-size Japanese miniature street will finally be finished! ![]()
Seeing all of these shops displayed together (especially all lit up) has been a goal of mine and I can’t wait to watch this little street continue to grow!
Of course… the company released a new collection of a lot smaller Japanese shops like little mini ones, so my collection isn’t completely finished after all
Those have officially been added to my wishlist!
A huge thank you to my grandma for making this build possible!! I can’t wait to build it, turn on the lights and find the perfect place for it on my growing Japanese street. Stay tuned for the build journey! ![]()
Which detail would you be most excited to build first—the cozy izakaya interior, the lanterns or that adorable little Shiba waiting outside? ![]()
