Hi everyone! Just a quick update to say that my second meetup is happening in 5 days! I think I’ve got most of the preparations sorted but I wouldn’t be surprised if my one brain cell has forgotten something.
I do love the Meetup Section 03 colour scheme, pink and green are such lovely spring colours! Unfortunately, it’s winter here in the Southern Hemisphere, so I took it upon myself to design something with a predominantly blue colour palette.
Sticking with tradition, I made some bookmarks for this meetup too. This time with a cozy winter theme.
I still have a lot to learn, but I genuinely enjoy making these. I also had so much fun creating the Nanci poster and survey (and yes, I cut every single one by hand to get rid of the white borders as my OCD wouldn’t let me leave them alone ).
And that’s everything so thank you so much for reading this far! I wanted to thank my fellow ambassadors (Miriam, Jill, Jo and the brilliant mind who came up with the one-word idea) for their lovely ideas which helped shape my Nanci poster and survey.
I’ve been doing my absolute best to stay cheerful but it’s been difficult at times because a family member is unwell and still in the hospital. I do feel defeated sometimes but I’m still looking forward to the meetup and I hope I can do a great job.
Everything looks lovely and gorgeous, Jade. You really did well to prepare those things by heart. I hope also that your family member will get well soon.
Those bookmarks look so cute! The variety of kits you chose is great as well. I’m sure all of your participants will have so much fun choosing between all of those amazing kits.
@JDisaduck your blue winter theme, handmade bookmarks, Nanci poster, and kit selection all show so much care for the meetup. It is especially meaningful that you are still preparing something warm for everyone while your family has been going through a difficult time. Wishing you a gentle, successful meetup and brighter news soon.
Jadeeeee, everything looks absolutely amazing!!! You really put so much love into every little detail. I’m sure your meetup will be wonderful, and I’m sending you a huge hug too.
I hope everything gets better soon and that you finally have some well-deserved peace in your life. Love you so much, my potato friend
