Yes, it’s on the side where directly opposite to the side that is opened so I didn’t mind it too much haha.
Hahaha I feel you. I used to be in the same boat (well maybe still on it actually but with different words used now since a “mom” shouldn’t be buying toys for herself anymore). 
I just ignore them and continue enjoying the hobby. The best revenge is just to be happy while they suck it up that they can’t do the same thing because they want to let society dictate how to enjoy their lives.

It’s all good about the paint, was able to fix it with acrylic markers and she enjoyed painting over it haha. The printed wall paper tho is something we were not able to fix. It’s a good thing it’s on the outside so it’s not visible on the photos.

Absolutely! Even with the sticky (glue) situations and the paint rescues, the time spent together is the one part of the kit that turned out perfectly.
