After I got home a bit late last night from the Robotime Meet here in the Philippines, my daughter was already waiting at the door. When she saw my bag, my daughter instantly saw the Rolife box and said “Build flowers!”. She is 7 years old and has Autism and her speaking level is around 3 years old only so even tho we are both tired and sleepy, we opened the box and continued the kit that I didn’t finish during the meet. She fell asleep tho after helping me put the stickers on the Daily Fresh Flower kit. She woke up this morning, instantly realizing she fell asleep in the middle of helping me build the kit, and first thing she ran on my table to look for it.
She was a bit disappointed that I have already finished the kit when she fell asleep, I shiwed her how to open the lights and she instantly got distracted. However, now she’s demanding to “build more”. I’m in tears as she’s been speaking a lot more just to communicate that she wants to build more kits. BRB, we are now off to the nearest mall to buy her more Rolife kits.. I’m thinking, maybe the Super Creator line so that she can connect it and build a mini building of cafes, kitchen, living rooms, etc.
Edit: 3 hours later, we are now at the toystore looking for her first Super Creator kit.

That is amazing that she is opening up to you about what she enjoys and finding an interest in building. Being Ausome she will probably pick it up quickly and want more complicated builds! you are a great mother meeting her where she is at.

Awww, she is a beautiful little girl. I think there is much of this she can do. I have heard of others with Autism that really come alive with these! I think that is amazing and encouraging. What a wonderful moment for both of you yesterday! I hope she loves this just as much!

Ahh your daughter is adorable How special that she started talking more so she could make it clear that she wanted to build more. I am sure she is going to love the Super Creator kits. That way she can build her own dollhouse herself
