I worked on the Harp, painting once more, for about 4 hours today. Its getting there! I made a quick video of the playing. I understand once everything is together and attached, it may not play.

That looks lovely.
I need to switch gears and do the harp-cello-music box. I’d be so scared to paint it as I have crazy sense of color. What paints did you use?

I love the blue paint on the harp! It looks really elegant! Kinda reminds me of the starry night :milky_way:

I am not really looking too much ahead but I think so and I have the base. I am going by what past builders have found. Fingers crossed!

I used a combination of liquid/bottle acrylics and acrylic marker pens. My liquid I get from Walmart. I like to use that because I can mix. Saturday I mixed the blue with a metallic silver! and for the swan I mixed white with silver to help it shine

Thanks! It was a nice challenge! Not perfect because some colors bled on certain parts of wood. But overall I am happy.

I came upon a little picture of a butterfly and followed that. Not quite the same but came out ok!
