I love the microscope, but I love it even more with this paint job! I added a light gold paint to the light wood panels, and then a light bronze coat to the darker panels! Love how it came out!

That’s different and I love it. It’s a hard item to customize! But those colors make it attractive!!

How did you go about paintying over the embossed details without covering them up? The Space Shuttle has a lot of embossed detail, and I want to paint it, but I was worried about not being able to see these details anymore?

It looks amazing! Great colour choice 
I used a gold acrylic paint and watered it down by half. Then added layers of it until I was happy, most of the time that was two layers!
