I’ve been waiting for this kit to arrive in the mail and it’s finally here!

Backstory: I had a privilege to visit Vietnam years ago and I’m totally in love with their culture. I recall seeing convenience stores in Hanoi and so when I found out that there’s a miniature version, I snagged the kit right away.

I know that this will be a long journey because of the intricacies, but I’m definitely looking forward to taking my time, taking breaks in between, and just enjoy the slow process.

If you have done this before, please share your experience.

Although lots of work for all little items, I believe it will look great at the end!

I love vietnamese culture too! Ive always wanted to go there but unfortunatly too broke to Travel across the country :sweat_smile:

Yes, I bought it online and it took about a full month to get here straight from Vietnam

I assembled it, and it requires more attention to detail. The paper part doesn’t seem quite perfect. And making it is truly a highly handcrafted process.

I’ve seen this online before and I’ve always been intrigued by it. It looks just like the older style kits with so many handcrafted details. I’m looking forward to your updates. :blush:

99% handcrafted on the cover makes me think you’ve got a big build ahead. That’s so great that you got a kit that you really wanted to do.

Wow! This looks like a super fun build. I love all the small details. Reminds me of the Filipino sari-sari store, makes me wonder if they also have that version.
