Then we went for a long walk and had some lunch.
I found a hair dresser and got my hair cut much shorter thank it has been. At least 8 inches off it so it sits below my shoulders now.
When we returned, my husband decided to watch a movie that I had no interest in, so I went back and finished my nook.
This was a fun build. I needed to wax quite a bit. The only part that I broke happened to have a spare (obviously this is a commonly broken piece).
Since it’s all 2D, the process was only slowed down by me painting edges.
I had a bit of a laugh at the paintings in the store fronts because this is meant to be set in the past and there is a Pepsi sign and also a coffee machine and an iced coffee.
I managed to finish this in under 3 hours.
I was very impressed that the wiring was already all put together and I just had to fix it into the build. And it has a sensor light which is pretty cool.
Overall, I’m happy with how it turned out.
I haven’t seen this book nook on shopping apps. I guess it’s quite rare now. I love that the wiring was already ready to install and the sensor light is cool for a book nook to have.
