Oh. My. Goodness. After pulling this section apart three times, I have finally succeeded in getting it in properly. On the second time I started putting it together, my slats were going in numbered backwards. What an idiot move.
I wish I had taken note of that tiny groove that I missed on the first go-around. I’m so happy that things have finally fallen into place. My 16-year-old nephew did this one on his own. Now, I feel badly for gifting him with this model.. LOL!

I’m sure he may have mumbled a few other words as well. He is a giant 16-year-old. Over 6 feet tall…and his hands are huge. I don’t even know how he did it.
