This build was one of the most rewarding ones I’ve done so far, and I’ve gotta say, it’s given me a run for my money! I mean, who needs Dora’s loft when you’ve got a tricky factory to build, right? Jokes aside, it was a challenge! Had to dig deep and learn some serious patience and troubleshooting skills. Huge shoutout to the community for all the help and advice along the way wouldn’t have made it without you guys!
After 4 sessions, it’s finally done and I couldn’t be happier. The original colours are pretty perfect as is, but I might just have to bust out the paintbrushes one day .
Anyone else out there finish this one? What do you think?
Congrats on a job well done. I painted almost every piece of mine and it runs perfectly. I did struggle with one wall near the back side though. You made it quickly! It looks great. I made some minor adjustments to the structure. Maybe it’ll give you some inspiration I think it would be tricky to paint afterward.

I thought I was gonna do more with it but I got so busy with other work.. closing in the Holidays too, can’t wait to finally have more time to do kits ahahah
LMAO DORA I don’t know i might use her for scraps at this point, It was my second kit, as an amateur then it was a really big fish to fry. Let’s see if its any better now…
Oh boy the struggle was real for me with the top conveyor belt, for some reason the gears wont seem to go as flush or smoothly…I mean I was able to solve but that part took me a good hours to solve. I am usually mechanically inclined so it was quite fast how I build it from my understanding… I can;’t wait for the Sakura Dream tour now >.<
Also… being childless at the moment helped me have more time for myself to make it I think… This would’ve taken longer if I did not use a lot of my spare time to do kits.
I have it like this at the moment, I wan to turn this whole cabinet into Christmas, although I only have 2 more Xmas related items…. Might need to get a second xmas book nook and the snow globe or the gravity ones….
That’s great that you finished so fast. I just like to take my time with each model. Time spent is never something I try to “clock”. It takes as long as it takes. I’ve seen people rush thru them too many times to count.
