Final update Beach picnic (not Rolife)

Today i had some time to finish the beach picnic. The last things I had to make were the beach chair and the parasol.

Now that all the small details have been made, it is time to place everything inside the bowl. This wasn’t that easy, because the stones in the bowl are not perfectly straight. Every time I tried to place a small detail in the bowl, another detail would fall over. After some swearing, I finally managed it

It looks fantastic! I kept wondering through out the process if the stones were real and maybe glued in place…or not. That would surely be frustrating. You did a beautiful job!

This is so stinking cute! I’m not sure I’m up for something so tiny…but I usually talk myself into buying it. Lol

It’s so gorgeous  well done @Liset

That little parasol is so adorable  I can imagine the struggle you faced putting all the details inside the bowl. Congrats Liset!

Well that looks pretty darn good! That Parasol is perfect! And really turned out good! Nice job and it did not end up in garbage! Yay!

The stones are real but they are not glued and just lie loose in the bowl

Oh dear…I think I would have glued a bottom layer. Let it dry and then added another…and then another, if need be. I can’t imagine trying to keep something straight on a moving surface…YIKES!

I don’t think the details are much smaller than other miniatures. Only the bowl is a bit on the small side, so it all just barely fits.

Thank you @Jill_Francisco :hugs: I can’t wait to make another Rokr model now. I’m torn between making the Gearball Challenge and the Magic Cello.

Haha Thank you @jeanneL :hugs: The quality itself was quite okay. However, many details are made of paper, for example, the blanket in the cart. It would have been nicer if this had simply been fabric.

The stones are sturdy enough, but I wanted to push the wooden parts under the stones, and as a result, others fell over

This is awesome! So unique that it’s indie a bowl!
