Fairyland DIY build day 2

Fairyland is proving to be. Shall we say time consuming. Which is good. But it’s scale I think is even smaller than most of the other models I’ve ever built. Have a look at these pictures. In a couple of them. I’ve made sure that the nail of my pinky is visible to give you a good idea of just how small we are dealing with :joy:

This is a teapot. Two beads, a gold thing, and two tiny wooden pieces.

Here we have a dining table. The fruit bowl in the middle is three gold things and six tiny beads for pieces of fruit. The plates are all a gold thing with a crystal bead on them. And then the chopsticks are all 0.8 cm in length. :joy:

And here is some more furniture with before and after assembly shots of some of them.

Some chandeliers

And a few other bits of furniture that got done today.

That’s all for today. Otherwise I think I’ll end up cross-eyed :joy:

Oh wow! You’ve managed to put those tiny pieces together neatly. I would like to give this kit a try … looks challenging but fun :slightly_smiling_face:

It is definitely challenging. It also doesn’t help that a couple of the smaller boards look like they were painted after the laser cutting was done and the paint has filled in the piece numbers and the gaps that you slide your knife into to cut them out :joy:

This looks SO amazing. You are doing an awesome job! The minis are very time consuming. The smallest one I did was a 3 story structure with pool, decks and yard. It sat on the palm of my hand. WAY TO GO!

The one below is probably the smallest I’ve done. It’s only two-story but it does fit in the palm of my hand
