I was wondering if anybody has ever tried to use the cellophane Packaging for Windows. This kid does not come with the acrylic normally in kids for the windows. Maybe I am wrong? And mine just wasn’t included. I am assuming it does not come with this kit because I don’t see any instructions for it. I think I want to try using the cellophane Packaging to keep dust out. Meanwhile, I am making baby steps on the plants.. so many plants.
The plants are nice. Using cellophane packing is a good idea. I look forward to your completion
Thank you @ThaoNguyen . I am still a long way away from installing the windows… so I wanted to ask in advance if anybody else has attempted to do so. I’m undecided at the moment.
Ohh?
you mean there is only the structure?
Yes… @camila_castro … there are no acrylic pieces for the windows
Using the cellophane as window protection sounds like a clever idea, especially to keep the dust out. I’ve never try it ![]()
And how exciting that you’re starting Emily’s Flower Shop! The plants can feel like a lot at first, but once you see them coming together, it becomes such a lovely and rewarding build. You’re doing great — keep going, this is one of this kits that when you finish it, it’s totally worth!
I can check mine if you want, to see if it was a mistake or if it normally comes without it
. It does feel a bit strange either way.
Such a great idea to use cellophane. I think this will work. Good luck ![]()
Ig i remenber correctly from pictures it is supposed to be open. I think you’ll make this work
Wow
it’s strange because it seems to be something on the picture of the final build
Since I don’t see it in the instructions, I’m assuming it just came without them. I think I might give it a whirl @Jerry_Boswijk
It’s actually very hard to tell from the picture but it is nowhere in the instructions so I think I will try to make those out of the cellophane @camila_castro
Since it is not included in the instructions anywhere, I am just going to assume that that is the way they made it. @Wenbare
Hmm… you think so? I’ll check when I get home. It seems strange that it’s all open ![]()
I see
you can do this @Nita_Davis
I think I am going to try to just hold it up around the edges and see how light shines on it before I attempt to do it I don’t want it to be too glary looking…
Thanks @Liset . I hope so.
I have for some things. I have had the instructions say to not throw away because will be used for…
I am just going to start holding on to it in case I need it for a future project as well . The stash box just keeps growing and growing.. LOL @jeanneL
I just watched a video on it. Unsure if there is a newer version but this video was the making flowers and gluing everything one. No windows. or “glass” I dont see why you couldnt add that if you wanted. Also you may be able to buy clear acetate sheets. I know Cricut sells them. That would give you a little more strength.
