📖 [ROKR Journey] Floral Art ~ Purple Rose Start to Finish Pictures! (AF021) 💜💜

Im not sure if any of y’all keep up with my posts but as promised I said I was going to post the Purple Rose today! And here’s the progress! I hope y’all enjoy the photos!

I accidently started snipping stuff off the packaging before getting a start photo, i got a bit too excited to start :joy:

To poof up the paper around the zip tie I took the round side of my knitting needle and pushed that up into the ziptie area, i only did it with the outer layer, non of the inner layers. I found it made it look more like the photo and made the bouquet look more full! :two_hearts::two_hearts: Anyways, heres the end result! :purple_heart::purple_heart:

I hope this posts helps you and inspires you to do the same projects!
Side note: I found this one was almost a little harder then the lilac for one reason, putting all the layers of paper in the right spot! After a while, i figure out that i should kinda tighten the ziptie and once i had the paper where i wanted it, i fully zipped it tight slowly. And thats how i was getting my desired layers!

Wow, this looks amazing! :rose: Your attention to detail is incredible, and I love how you shared your technique for poofing up the paper—it’s so helpful. I’m sure this will inspire many of us to try the Purple Rose too. Can’t wait to see what other creative builds you tackle next!

Hey friend! I"ll definitely keep an eye out thank you so much!!

It’s beautiful  thank you for posting your step photos because I was always curious how the puzzle looked before it was assembled. I am contemplating on which flowers to choose as a beginner - the Rowood or the plastic ones. What do you suggest?

I have not done any plastic ones…BUT I can say that working with wood is a bit harder. @Jill_Francisco mainly because of the risk of breakage if not accustomed to them.

For some reason, my views dont want to post on here so heres a link! I ended up taking a video of it opening and closing :hugs:

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it! I try my best to help everyone out as best as i can, I have struggles sometimes while i do my projects and whenever i do i tend to find my answers within the community! We all grow and build off eachother! :heart_hands::hugs:

So much more to come! I have Emilys Flower Shop on the way and Fall into Wonder! :hugs::hugs:

I would say for a starter flower a plastic one is definitely easier! I agree with @Nita_Davis, the lilac was a lot easier to break and more finicky. Something like this would be great!
