I have started with Elsa’s Tailoring… the remake. The scrapbook paper I bought contained flowers that were way too big for walls that are so small so I am only cutting out the blossoms and making them into a different sort of wallpaper. I’ve decided that I don’t want any gold in this build so painting it all silver has been quite the process. Multiple coats are needed for silver to cover gold. I can’t ever do anything the easy way…lol! I will also be making my own dress because the one with little cherries on it just doesn’t go with my color scheme. Just sharing a little bit of progress
I just know this is going to be so very pretty. It was pretty as it was but I know this will be spectacular!
Sounds like you have your work cut out for you. Good luck.
Is it possible to use the pattern for the dress and just change the fabric?
@SunnyCee
Having done Elsa’s I would say yes
That’s what I intend to do. My mother is a seamstress and I actually used to sew quite a bit. I actually made my own wedding dress 43 years ago…LOL! @SunnyCee
I sure hope so…because my mind is just all over the place with this one… @jeanneL
I was going to ask if you had sewing knowledge. It’s a cool aspect of this kit.
Yes, it is. Not often needed, but sometimes very helpful @SunnyCee
1 step at a time. You have a vision! You got this!
@Nita_Davis click on the picture to see the whole dress. It is a little blurry but best I could do!
Oh nice progress there! I kept searching for the original kit online just to compare it to what you have here! ![]()
Can’t wait to see it completed but take your time!
Oh…you won’t even recognize it when done….LOL! Thanks! @JDisaduck
I willrecognize as Nita’s Tailoring! or replece with Moms name ![]()

Not sure if I will change the name. That’s a lot of work for painting and I am not tech savvy enough to print something out to size. @jeanneL
Did you paint it? it looks different.
I am painting everything. I am covering the walls differently and added a new flooring color. I will also be making a new dress. @ThaoNguyen
It’s a good idea
Thanks. I certainly hope I like the end result…because this has been a LOT of work so far @ThaoNguyen
