Easter holidays are almost over and between plans and everything, I finally got a bit of time today to continue my Plum Garden Prayer!

This morning I could only build for a little while because I was helping my husband assemble furniture for his office… so today I went big instead of miniatures

After lunch I managed to sit down again and make some progress. This time I worked on the outer structure, adding the walls and the central structure to the base. I also connected the lights, and as you can see, the cable is quite long so I had to tuck it neatly inside the battery box area. I really like the detail of the rock cover with a tiny hole to turn the lights on and off!
A little tip for these kits, since there’s quite a bit of gluing involved: make sure EVERYTHING is facing the right direction before gluing it down, because once it’s fixed with strong glue, it can be a disaster to try to remove it…
I used super glue with a brush applicator for cleaner finishes and only glued each piece once I was sure it was positioned correctly. Not before!
Finally, I added the roof and voilà… the main structure is done! And it’s soooo beautiful!!
For next time (hopefully tomorrow, even if I have lunch plans), I’d love to finish it. I still have some details left, the tree which looks a bit tricky, placing everything properly, and the snow details.
So far I’m really loving this kit, it’s absolutely beautiful

Hope you like this little update, and thanks for reading!
