I’ve just started to customize my builds. I started experimenting with different markers on a really cheap kit, a vase with flowers. Then I decided to try them on the Violin Capriccio. Just as it is, it’s a wonderful piece. I was a bit apprehensive, because I wanted it to be at least as appealing as it was, preferably make it even nicer looking. I feel I succeeded

I think you have succeeded. It looks stunning. This was on of my firsts to paint/ stain as well. Now I have done the same with over 100 of them.
