[DIY & Creativity] Progress #1 - Mini Town book nook (not Rolife)

This isn’t a Rolife build, but it’s going to be so much fun watching this come together. I only worked on it a little while today.

I couldn’t describe this build well enough to do it justice and it’s such a creative theme. Here is the official description:

Here are some of the pieces that are supposed to resemble everyday items we’d find in the trash…

The first piece I completed looks like it will rotate in a circle since there is a scene on both sides of it.

This cute little lady bug has a magnet in the bottom and I’m betting that another magnet will be installed under the floor of the book nook so that the lady bug moves around. We’ll see if I’m right when I get that far in the build.

This will take me a while to paint the edges, but it’s really interesting and ai know the pieces will all fit together nicely. I’m excited to see the completed build.

Nice it looks fun. One thing I noticed is that in relation to the size of the people in that kit, that ladybug would terrify me completely lol.

@Grey74 I totally agree! It was the first thing I noticed when I saw the new release video for this kit.

@Nita_Davis the theme is unique and creative. I love it because often times when we need to make something miniature, we use “trash” or whatever we have around the house. It’s so fitting for this hobby.

That is very unique and I love your reference to how it pertains to crafting.

@Tkaplan this Mini Town book nook has such a wonderfully strange theme. The everyday trash pieces, rotating scene, and magnetic ladybug already make it feel like a tiny world with its own rules. I am very curious to see if your ladybug theory is right.

@Grey74 the giant ladybug scale is hilarious once you notice it. In that tiny world it is either adorable transportation or a very serious neighborhood threat.

@Sasa I don’t want to mention other brand names, but if you do a google lens search it will come up. Or you can private message me.

@Robotime haha, that’s so funny! I love your take on it!
