[DIY & Creativity] Progress #4 - Mini Town book nook

Once again I only got to spend a few hours on this build. I have gotten to do some things on the right and left walls and some other pieces for the floor. I still can’t picture how it’s all going together, but I’m enjoying the process.

This wall has what I think is going to be a trash can that a person pops out of. There are coffee beans on the outside of the wall that if you slide the beans, the person pops up out of the trash can.

There are also two pop can tabs used to hang a couple of things

The other wall has the pieces that I used the paper clips for fences. There is a sheer cloth butterfly that oooks really cool on the flowers. And the door opens and closes by turning the gear on the outside of the wall.

I can’t wait to see how it all comes together…I’ll be excited to work on it again in a few days. In the meantime, duty calls…I get to go babysit my 2yr old twin grandkids.

@Tkaplan the little mechanisms in this update sound delightful, especially the coffee beans that make someone pop out of the trash can. Even when the full layout is still a mystery, those tiny interactive details make the process feel really rewarding. Enjoy the grandkid time, and we’ll be happy to see the next step when duty gives you a crafting window again.
