Hello everyone, I’m a big fan of wooden jigsaw puzzles. I’ve already built the ship, the steam engine, the flower basket, and the natural wood cuckoo clock. With the cuckoo clock, I was bothered by the fact that the cuckoo called day and night. Okay, you can turn it off manually, but I chose a different solution. I searched online for various light sensors and found some. There are different modules, day and night modules. I’ve now installed a day module (During the day). I connected this between the clock mechanism and the cuckoo module. In the extension on the roof, I then placed the module with the light sensor so that the sensor can react in bright light. I hope that in the future, ROKR will eventually offer a cuckoo clock mechanism with a “night mode” and perhaps radio control, or at least offer this option, perhaps as a retrofit kit.
That’s such a clever solution, I love it! A night mode would be amazing, but this is a really smart way to make it work.
