This morning I got back to my Fluffy Cat Bakery nice and early, and I was really excited to continue. Sleeping on it helped me think more clearly about the changes I wanted to make, especially painting the outside of the bakery white. I know white will take quite a few layers, but honestly I just don’t love that yellow very much.
With that idea in mind, I started working on the sign and the little bench outside. Later I also added a climbing plant to the bench, but I forgot to take a photo of that. I also worked on the bakery sign and then… it was time to start painting everything white!!! 
I do have white paint, but I really wasn’t in the mood to get everything out, use brushes, and make a big mess, so I went all in with my acrylic markers instead. And honestly, the result is not bad at all, especially for white. I think the white wall with the light blue door frame looks absolutely adorable! 
I also worked on the awning, which as you can see in the photo I reinforced with double-sided tape without removing the protective layer, so it stays attached from the inside while still looking white and neat.
Then, there are the lovely little bread boxes and the shopping bag, the adorable counter with its tiny croissant and the beautiful cookie bags. I must tell you that I really, really adore all these little details, like the basket with strawberry jam, and the little outdoor plant.
And once the furniture pieces were done, it was finally time to start fitting everything into place. I’ll show you that in another post so I don’t overwhelm everyone with too much text and too many photos. Sorry about that.
