Do you guys remember when I personalized my cabin for winter? I added artificial snow to give it that cozy, frosty look. The snow effect is made from a white powder that blooms into fluffy snow once you add water. To make it stick to the cabin, I used some glue and add some cotton—and I even added a bit of glue directly to the cabin itself for extra hold.
Unfortunately, the snow melted and turned into a sand-like powder. Since I used glue on some parts of the snow, it ended up looking a bit sandy in texture. I wanted to showcase this cabin at my first-ever meetup since it’s one of my most well-known builds on social media.
I didn’t want my cabin to stay like that, so I decided to customize it again. I first tried sanding, but the glue held so firmly that it risked damaging other parts. Now I’m reworking it and plan to finish today so I can share the result with you all. This is my favorite kit, and I don’t want it to end up messy—I want it to look its best
Oh it looked so beautiful with the snow. So sad it disappeared. I’m curious about your new customization though, can’t wait to see your update about it
@Anje_Leonoza_Mira awww no way ! Thats not good ! I hope you can reasolve the problem! Im going to check if the snow evaporates as i was going to buy some ! Ill look forward to your reamodel !
That was my worry with mine. SO my husband bought an artificial snow, not water based in the orange app.. will ask him for the link.
Perhaps you can use that to cover it up.
Oh no The snow looked beautiful on your cabin! I’m really curious to see what solution you come up with though. Honestly, experimenting and finding creative fixes is fun but its so frustrating when tings are failing
