Update 9: gift factory

I’m back from Holliday and this evening i had a little bit more time to build on the gift factory. I did improve the black production signal a bit by adding more gold. I even painted the small dots on the edge gold. I also removed the roof of the Christmas tree because it looked like a part wasn’t properly fitted, but during inspection, I discovered it was properly fitted (better to double-check while I still can) :wink:

It’s a huge compliment when I can inspire people :smiling_face:. I can definitely recommend this build; it’s a lot of work, but it’s a super fun build to make.

Thank you @Nita_Davis I’m debating whether to buy Vallejo Frost paint to enhance the snow effect. I’m not sure if this paint is suitable for wood.

Haha it did t work, i read on the internet to make snow paint with shaving foam and glue, but my husband has shaving gel so it didn’t get fluffy enough :wink:

It’s fun to experiment. I just went to a garden center where there was a Christmas show. I found some fake snow there. I’m curious to see if it will create a nice effect.

As long as the wood is sealed, (and it is), it should be fine @Liset . One of my kits came wth white felt for the snow and I liked the looks of it
