Diorama update #2 Planning is everything

When you plan. When you have a vision. Things go fast when you finally implement it. That’s what happens with my dioramas, normally lol

I started finally last night. Cut the foam. Hot glued everything. Primed the pieces for paint. And began painting today after work. The aging on the stone work took the longest. Black base on everything. Grey paint, brown paint then a white dry brush highlighting.
But after a nice glue wash, flocking and some small bushes the landscape is ready.
I’m gonna give it a rest tonight. It’s been a week and David is tired. Go ahead ask him, I did. And he wants a bourbon and some Chinese food.
I should finish this tomorrow! Updates to come

Insane.. is that a good thing? lol

Thank you!!! This is why I make these kinds of things. It’s three dimensional and recreates a moment in time. Unlike kits that are static and represent a place or setting. I’m glad you understand this! :purple_heart::purple_heart:

Wow! This is fantastic!! Have you ever built Warhammer figurines? This kind of reminds me of some of the terrain people build for their games!

I wish I could get into Warhammer!! The miniatures are pretty cool. But it’s just idk… weird to me? lol

Yeah, if I ever got in to it I’d definitely be someone who just builds and paints the figures, but doesn’t play the game.:rofl:
