Another build finished to showcase at my meetup and I have to say that I enjoyed every step of putting this together. I did muck up a couple of things but then the build wouldn’t be truly mine if I hadn’t.
I did have a couple of issues. There was no hole in the light shade so I had to make it myself.
And the wire wouldn’t fit into the beads to make the lollipops, so I had to strip a short piece on the end to do it. But these were not hard fixes.

Pretty happy with what I did around the door frame.
Then after I picked it up to move it, the battery box fell out of the bottom and now the lights don’t work. But I will fix that soon.

I love that you didn’t let those little hiccups stop you. Your fixes sound really clever, and all that edge painting around the door frame was definitely worth the effort,it looks beautiful. I have the Christmas ones in my stash and probably after Halloween I’m going to be doing them all to add to my holiday decor .
