I completed the Cuckoo Clock yesterday. I was really impressed on this one! It a beautiful centerpiece or wall hanging showcase. Everything went together well and everything works! lol thats not to mean I didnt have issues.
Pros:

  1. beautiful build, the artwork, the layout and the gears work great!!
  2. The real clock on this actually works!
  3. the cuckoo I mean come on.. its a cuckoo?!?!
  4. Pieces are thick when they need to and thin where they are needed as well.

Cons:

  1. Some of the instructions are kinda meh.. I with it had more detail on where some pieces were supposed to be placed. A couple time they were guessed at then had to be corrected once installed
  2. The Santa Sleigh only goes around the house when the hour strikes, not sure whats up with that.. Its magnetic and moves when a gear under the platform moves to catch it

While taking pictures, one piece did fall out and I have to put it back up, but if you can see it missing in the pics good for you, because I cant even see it lol.
Highly recommend it!! A good build into the ROKR world and not incredibly difficult. It can sit on a mantle or up on the wall. There are pieces that cant be seen in the pictures which are the pulleys that are on a normal cuckoo clock. However they are just for display on this one, as everything is battery powered.
Enjoy, Christmas is coming.. in about 90 days or so?.. I dont know I dont do math very well.

This is really stunning!!! Definitely will be a favorite. I might get the regular one so that I can play them all year long

It’s such a nice clock and it’s nice that you can sit it to display it as well as hang it up

You’ve done a great job, I’ve got tjhe regular one to do and I’m not sure I could justify two cuckoo clocks :sweat_smile:

The same thing happens with the instructions for the new Japanese train model—the instructions can sometimes be confusing, but the finished piece is a beautiful model.

This is perfect for an actual clock :joy: keeping it hung on the wall and suddenly there’s a cuckoo bird :rofl: well it’s super cute and functional

Wow, it turned out beautiful!The working clock and little cuckoo make this kit extra special. Thanks for sharing such a helpful review, including the pros and cons.
