Attended @Kim_Kieffer May meetup and picked the music box for my first kit. Because starting with something easy seemed like a bad plan.
Made some progress in May while helping Kim with photos, got it about 95% finished at the June meetup, and finally wrapped it up today.
Also left off the logos. I figured if I was going to ignore part of the instructions, I should at least be consistent. The music box doesn’t really work well, but at this point it’s a design feature.
@Mgkieffer finishing a music box as a first kit is definitely choosing the scenic route. The line about the music box not working well becoming a design feature made us smile, and the finished piece looks wonderfully earned.
