I’m working on a bit of a different build at the moment. It’s called Star Workshop made by a different company. Im doing alot of edge painting to give it a better overall look. I am just now getting to the gears and moving parts. So lots of wax. The main reason I chose this kit is the color scheme. Lots of pastel colors. So far the instructions are good and everything is nicely labeled. The pieces are fitting pretty snug which is good because I’m trying not to use too much glue in fear of gluing a part that should move. Overall I’m enjoying this one even though it’s not my normal type of build.

I know you said that you are doing a lot of waxing but the sanding before the waxing is just as or even more important. Sometimes people misunderstand this if they are unmiliar with wooden models.

I always hate to sound overbearing when I tell people that because sometimes I don’t know how much experience they have with the wooden models. It’s better to be safe than sorry so I’m happy that I brought it up

@Smith42 now that is so so pretty ive made a kit by that make it as very good quality … i love the pinks and blues … good luck with the gears like you said plenty of waxing ! I look forward to your progress
