As you can see, I have decided to paint both the fuel tank and the rocket boosters. I closely tried to imitate what the boosters and the fuel tank looked like in real life. So, I used orange and yellow paints for the fuel tank, and white and metallic paints for the rocket boosters.
I was really pleased with how the orange paint of the fuel tank turned out. The rocket boosters on the other hand…let’s just say I need to improve my painting ability when it comes to smaller and finer details . I would consider painting some of my models in the future, but I would probably use airbrushes to achieve a more consistent finish.
Overall, I genuinely enjoyed building this model and painting it was definitely a unique and fruitful experience. I am also glad that it works perfectly and smoothly. Thank you everyone who tuned in my building journey
Gentoo_Builds, your Space Shuttle finish looks like a real achievement. Painting the fuel tank and boosters to match the real shuttle adds so much character. The patience you put into the details really shows in the final result.
