Grab the rum and the nearest parrot, wear an eyepatch and a wooden leg and sail away on the Seahorse Barque!

I finished it! I only had a few ropes left and some ‘fences’ (they look like fences,don’t know what the correct word is :sweat_smile:). So here we are!

I did not add the DIY ropes at the end of the manual anymore. I’m really not in the mood to be doing that today :rofl: don’t know why exactly.

And hey, it is going to sail. It’s done

It was a very fun kit to build. Thank you again @Liset for the kind gift.

And again for reference: if you’re looking for tips to build this one. Look up the posts of @TheToday and @Nita_Davis . They were of great help for me.

So let’s go sailing now to the horizon and beyond.

I struggled a bit though. I felt like I needed an extra hand to get them right and tight. But I managed to get it done by first attaching the loose end to the mast, sling the rope where it had to go and only then pulling it as tight as possible.

But now it is finished and completed (or at least completed enough to my taste :hugs:)

It looks great completed! I totally agree with you about the strings though. I’m dreading doing the strings on the little ship I’m going to build soon.
