This was my first big customization build, where I did a lot of painting! Painting usually isn’t my thang, so this was a pretty big deal for me! The paint pens definitely helped make it bearable!
This is such a cool build to sit and watch after it’s complete, it’s always changing directions, there is a lot going on! Pretty awesome!
Overall, I did enjoy my time with this build, though, by the end I was definitely kind of tired of painting. Definitely going to be spreading out all my “want to paint” builds to avoid too much burnout.

You’ve done a WONDERFUL job! I am totally in love with your color choices. Yes, I understand about the painting “burnout”. This is exactly why I skip all over the directions…LOL! Build some, paint some…back and forth. I can’t wait to see Dora’s loft. So happy that you can continue with it.
I followed the instructions and painted while I built everything, mostly because I wasn’t sure how everything was going to fit together. Didn’t really have much a plan going in either, other than my choices of colour lol. Pretty excited to get back to Dora’s Loft, since that’s all just assembling now!
This one is so cute! I love what you’ve done with it. I’ve been eyeing it for a while but the choice of colours looks somehow cold for my taste. And you know how I feel about painting my kits!
