Tonight after work I have built some more. And for the first time I was afraid that I had broken a piece (without any spare parts ) but luckily none broke entirely so all is well .
Comparing to the other Marble Runs I did, I think this one is easier to build. There are less fragile rails and the pieces fit better.
The thing I find a bit frightening is that you don’t get to test the lights and movements like with the coffee and gift factory. So it’s difficult to just trust the process and to trust that all will work once it’s finished.
I do enjoy building this one though. I will continue tomorrow after breakfast and chores (unfortunately I have to do those in the weekend )
This is looking great with the bits of selective colour. Having never built it, I can’t comment too much on your progress but I can say that it looks really good.
London is calling! You’re doing an amazing job! Chores are the ultimate enemy so I hope you get through them quickly so you can get back to the fun stuff! That trust the process feeling is part of the ROKR charm! Nothing beats the satisfaction of that first successful loop. Can’t wait for your next update!
Oh nice, it’s looking pretty cool so far! I haven’t done any Marble Run kits yet, since I’m not 100% interested in them (or should I say they’re not a top priority in my wishlist?), but this one is coming together pretty nicely! So glad you didn’t break anything that couldn’t be replaced!
I also didn’t know you can’t really test a kit like this until it’s done. I know it may be difficult to trust the process, so trust your skill instead! This is not your first rodeo, I’m sure you’ll manage good enough
It’s coming along nicely. I would like to test the lights before putting more pieces on it. But I hope everything turns out okay for you. Happy building
