I’m glad I finished this one. Because the weather is nice and I want some ice cream now :sweat_smile:.

All jokes aside, I truly loved building this one. Even with the broken piece. It had clear instructions, it was not too difficult and the colors are amazing.

I had to use glue twice. The first time with the headlights because i did not position my double sided tape on the exact spot it needed to be. And the second time for the piece I snapped in half.

Overall I’m very happy with how it turned out. Here is a picture with the lights on

If only it was a real ice cream truck where I could get a nice cone with some chocolate and strawberry ice cream. What are your favorite flavors?

I also wanted to determine which kit would be my next. I still have the harp, cuckoo clock and Titanic. I did a round of spin the wheel again and here’s the outcome

I might still start that one today. Happy building!

I’m so happy to see you enjoying this kit so much after everything you’ve been through lately :yellow_heart::sparkles: And honestly, even with the broken piece, it still turned out absolutely adorable :soft_ice_cream:

The lights make it look even more cozy!

Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a lot to me. I’m doing okay at the moment. I could get the distraction yesterday at the wedding I attended and got some needed cuddles from my friends.

And further it’s just a roller coaster of emotions going up and down. But eventually I will be okay :face_blowing_a_kiss:

And pistachio is not bad either :face_savoring_food:. Sometimes I like to switch to more fruity flavors, so besides strawberry, I love lemon flavor as well :lemon:

I’m really glad to hear you got some comfort and distraction at the wedding :yellow_heart::sparkles: Sometimes being surrounded by people we care about and getting those much needed hugs can make such a difference :pleading_face:

And I think it’s completely understandable that it feels like a roller coaster emotionally. Just take things one day at a time and be gentle with yourself :two_hearts:

Yep, spin the wheel has chosen the cuckoo clock for me. I would have to make this one eventually, so I don’t mind doing it now.

I already completed the first steps, but heading to bed now so no time left to make a post about it. It will follow in the morning. :smiling_face:

@Jo1 I’m feeling okay now I try to avoid the things that make me feel sad today. So I listened to some music, got a bicycle ride to my parents and I made some crepes for dinner :face_savoring_food:. Now I’m ending the day with a few more chapters in a book before turning off the lights and going to sleep.

I don’t know the flavors you’re mentioning, but I would love to try them :smiling_face:

And you’re right. Glue is a savior in many occasions. I just wish I did not have to use it.

With the cuckoo clock I will definitely be more careful and take my time. And stop building when I feel like getting tired.

I’m just used to using glue, I almost always prefer them over tape. :see_no_evil_monkey:

That’s it! You should just build and do whatever at your own pace. There’s no rush. You need to enjoy building the clock. :pink_heart:

It turned out fantastic and it is such a gorgeous build to make. I hope you’re feeling better in yourself a little now.
You have more difficult builds in your stash but I think the cuckoo clock is a great change of pace after the ice cream van.

Hi @Minus_88, Beverly’s Ice Cream Truck looks so cheerful with the lights on. It is lovely that the build gave you some comfort, and the wheel choosing the Cuckoo Clock makes the next chapter exciting.
