[Build Stories ]Classical gramophone - progress

I did not post anything for a little over a week I guess. I have read a lot of posts and replied though, but did not feel like making my own posts. After some better and hopeful news from the hospital, this week all my hope was crushed again. No pregnancy, no embryos left so I will have to start over once again.

Luckily I got to build some. My gramophone got some extra steps done (I don’t know what the step of my last topic was) and tonight I stopped somewhere in the middle of step 12. I need to make a connection now and I’m getting much too tired to do it without making mistakes. So I’m going to be a good girl and go to bed, and continue this step tomorrow with a clear mind.

For now it is looking great. But I’m not sure all the connections I made are good enough, so I will continue for now and hope I don’t need to take anything apart later to fix things .

The inner mechanism is working very smoothly, so that part I’m confident about.

I find this one of the more interesting builds. There is a lot going on and I love how all the little parts come together as one magnificent device.

Sending prayers that everything will work out for you

I’m really sorry about the hospital news. Your gramophone is looking amazing though! It sounds like you’re enjoying the build despite everything

Gramophone is looking so goo so far:ok_hand::ok_hand:

I’m so sorry you’ve had such a difficult week. I’m glad to hear building has given you a little space to focus on something else, even for a while. The gramophone is coming together beautifully, and I think you made the right call to stop before tackling the wiring. A fresh mind tomorrow is always better than risking a frustrating mistake. Wishing you strength, and I hope your next update brings both a finished build and brighter days ahead.

Wow! Looking great! Happy building!

It’s looking great so far. I did the music box, but I really want to take this one on some day.

So sorry to hear your news. You have a lot of people out here lifting you up. Sending you lots of love and peace.
