Hi everyone, might have noticed my absence here the past week (or maybe even a little more).
After finishing the gramophone and again not the best news concerning my fertility project, I just drowned in work. Which was good for getting my mind from overthinking. But I really did not have the energy anymore to scroll through the community, nor building any new kit.
On more week of work to go and I will be off for 2 weeks, which I’m looking forward to. I already planned a visit to a big animal park in Belgium with my mom and 3 days at sea. The rest of my vacation I will spend at home or doing little daytrips.
But first weekend!
Today I found again some energy to build something. As you may or may not know I had 2 kits remaining: the classic carousel and the zodiac clock. I just took the one screaming for my attention the most, being the carousel and completed the first few steps. Nothing too complicated, which is just what I needed to get back at it again.
That’s awesome you took time for yourself. It’s so Important and I tend to not do that at all. Thanks for sharing your story and build. Wishing you the best vacation and time to relax and regroup!! Enjoy!

Of course you were missed during your absence. There are times we all need a a little ‘reset’ from modeling and everything else. I’m glad you took the time you needed and so happy to see you back. That is great progress on the carousel.
That base is looking great. With your fertility journey, I know it’s difficult but try not to stress out too much. Because stress will affect the result. I wish you all the very best in this journey. @Minus_88
Always Have time for yourself! It was only a couple of weeks agi that i completely stopped posting or commenting because i just didnt have the energy to.
Leisbeth, I am sorry to hear about your not good news. That must be so disheartening, and I can understand that you don’t want to be around the community.

It’s good to see you back! Sometimes taking a step back and simply getting through a busy stretch is exactly what we need. I’m glad you found a little energy for the carousel, and it sounds like the perfect gentle project to ease yourself back into building. Wishing you a smooth final week of work and a really relaxing vacation with your mom, the animal park, and your days by the sea.
Thank you @Nita_Davis sometimes our bodies decide for us it is time to take some rest. I’m glad I listened to it. Now easing myself back into it, is just what I need to not go in overdrive again
Thank you @Tricia12 i don’t have a lot of stress. And i was very hopeful that I would get good news, because all was feeling so good. But unfortunately it wasn’t, and in the meantime my energy level just dropped to a very low level.
That’s getting better now and I will continue my journey hopefully with a new start during my vacation. So when I’m as relaxed as possible
