Today is day 6 on the unpainted version and I am showing how I painted tiny pieces of paper and pasted them to the backside of cutouts in the wood. If any part shows, I will paint over the back sides.
I love how it’s turning out!!! The colors are fantastic!! ![]()
Can’t wait to see the finished one
We’d love to see updates on your building progress of Cuckoo Clock, and we also look forward to you sharing any challenges or tips you’ve discovered along the way ![]()
I’m very surprised. It’s the first time I’ve seen the back of it. You’re the first one to share. I look forward to your follow-up. ![]()
Wow, what a great idea! I hadn’t thought of that myself, haha. Your cuckoo already looks amazing; the colors complement each other really well ![]()
I know this Cuckoo clock will turn out gorgeous!
Thanks so much for sharing. I wouldn’t have come up with that idea
Thanks. I will recap any struggles I have had and give tips as well.
Thanks @Linda . Hoping to be done soon, but work is interfering…LOL!
You’re welcome @Jerry_Boswijk . I’ve done this on a lot of mine.
Thanks for your kind words . I am really liking these colors
Thank you!1 I’ve used this color combination several times before.
To me, it kind of has a Christmas vibe, I don’t know why ![]()
Because of the green white and red. Got a bit of a christmas tree vibe to it.
Yes, I think maybe that’s why ![]()

The only reason for the red is because of the hearts and diamonds hidden throughout the puzzle. I was just looking for a woodsy vibe, yet you still have to have blue birds and water, etc. @Wenbare , @Jerry_Boswijk @Liset
That’s amazing! I can already imagine how stunning the final result will look. Can’t wait to see your vision fully come to life! ![]()
Thank you so much @Lisa_Miller . I am hoping to be done this weekend. Work has put a slight damper on my play time.. LOL
It’s so cool, @Nita_Davis ![]()
