[Beginner Tips] What was I thinking?! - Summer Blossoms Puzzle Vase

I have one question for those of you who have made one of these…do you glue all the pieces? I’m afraid it will get dropped and fall apart. When I opened this, I was expecting a quick and easy projects I’ve ever been so wrong! LOL

Ị dont think it needs to be glued. I would think that it’s just snatch in. Have yours been falling off at all?

Wauw that is truly something special. I wouldn’t know if glue is recommended or not

Oops, I haven’t mounted one like that, but I suppose the pressure will keep it from falling off.

I’ve never tried something like that but I would imagine it would just stay together because of the pressure. I once made a 3D globe using normal cardboard puzzle pieces and it stayed together fine.

I think that @Sofie_Vanderbeken has done this one?

I didn’t glue them, i did both of them, this is the most difficult one of the 2 because of the printed design on it, i don’t know if it would fall apart when it falls

Haha I had the same thought :joy: I’ve made 3D puzzles before. They look simple but it’s trickier than expected! I don’t think this needs to be glued anyway

I haven’t built this yet, but it’s so cool how the kit goes from puzzle to vase!

I’ve looked at these myself Tina. To be honest, I think I would mod podge the whole vase when finished to both hold it together and protect it.

I was wondering the same thing, but maybe it’s not necessary.

@Suzanne_Jones that’s a great idea, but I might do it in the inside.. Thanks!

I didn’t glue mine but I chose the other pattern because it was easier to figure out.

I believe flower lady @Sofie_Vanderbeken built this one.

Best of luck on your vase @Tkaplan

I wonder if using like an E6000 spray adhesive would work? Let me know I can bring it

Looks like alot of fun… and I’m sure the pieces will stay together once clicked in place.

@jeanneL that’s a great idea…I wonder if Mod Podge would do just as good if I spread it on the inside? I have that on hand.
