Second & Last Day of Building the Spring Sakura Banquet! ![]()
After putting together the main structure on the first day, today was all about the lovely details — and of course, the sakura tree that brings so much charm to this kit.
I started with the tree. Be careful when connecting the branches, as they are one of the most delicate parts along with the leaves, which are made of thin cardstock. I found it curious that some leaves had little holes to insert mini wooden pieces and attach them to the tree.
Tip: for the leaves that stick to the tree with double-sided tape, I recommend using glue instead, so they stay more secure.
After finishing the tree, it was time for the furniture — one of my favorite parts to assemble (not sure why, but I love it). The pieces fit together really easily, so the furniture was quick to build. My favorite is definitely the pink one with the sakura shape inside. After that came all the sweet details: desserts, the tea set, a tiny plant…
Then the tiny details began: scattering sakura petals on the ground, hanging little bells from the tree, adding lotus leaves to the pond, the bird on the tree, the butterfly…
And once everything was in place — voilà! This beauty is finished! ![]()
Nanci and Bunny look so happy to finally have a little corner to enjoy their tea peacefully, with the sound of the trees in the breeze and sakura petals floating through the air. Who wouldn’t want to take a break surrounded by such a lovely scene? ![]()
Final thoughts:
This kit is simple but very pretty and fun to assemble. The best part is that it’s accessible for everyone — you don’t need to be an expert to build it and enjoy it. Plus, the fact that it comes with this cute Nanci and bunny is such a fantastic touch.
I hope you’ve enjoyed following along with the building process of this kit. If you have any comments, questions, or suggestions, feel free to let me know! ![]()
