And for my next build …

Wonderful. I’ve got a pair of tweezers to clean up too :grin:

Your little coffee shop is so cute. :heart_eyes: It’s great that it has a dust cover.

trust me, you will love it. at first I wasn’t sure how I will be cleaning the tools. I was just using my nails and knife trying to scrape it off. But the acetone making it so much easier.

Fantastic! Couldn’t get any at Coles this afternoon (go figure) but Woollies came through for me! I didn’t really want to have to go to Aldi because I always come out of there poorer :wink:

Thanks so much lovely :smiling_cat_with_heart_eyes:

I’m not sure how the red will go for me. I’m changing the name to Sue’s Living Room and I have some ideas lol

The wheel has chosen well! :laughing: Oh and I hate those dust covers too! I face the same problem and I think I might try using double sided tape next time. But I won’t be building something like this in a while.

try getting it at Bunnings. it might be cheaper there. Or pharmacy for a small bottle. Get the acetone that use to clean the nail polish. it is 99% acetone so it is strong. most place don’t sell them that strong.

I got some from Woolies do gel nails but it didn’t work on the acrylic dust cover. But I’ll use it for other things.

You’re welcome. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::pink_heart:

Another good choice would be any massage oil or makeup removal with oil base. Acetone can rub off the shines of the plastic but the oil doesn’t. It removes the sticky residue of the glue and just use tissue to wipe it off. I just finish making 1 dust cover, it’s so thin and flimsy and acetone doesn’t work well for it as it takes off the shine. It’s too strong. So oil work well and I use a bit of oil to polish the plastic. The one I made today is such a poor quality. I used to use acetone to clean glue on Robotime’s plastic dust cover and it works so well. But the one come with this current kit that I build is đó annoying. At least i dong have much glue to clean off.

In the right decor that could be ok. I am not a fan. I prefer more of the darker leathers. Will see once I open the kit.

I think you should be proud of yourself. It looks like a difficult kit.

It’s still looking lovely, especially with the lights on! A little customizing will make it totally yours!
