I’m not sure about the red colour of the couch. I may or may not customise the build.
Finished the little coffee shop. Certainly u happy about the wiring setup and the fact I had to glue the dust cover together. I hope Ilthe next ones I do in this series turn out a bit better.
I love your small build. I have fun with those. I don’t like gluing the case together, so I found a display case that fits them perfectly. Have fun with Catherine’s Living Room…it’s such a cute build.
Ooh, do share where you found your covers. You reminded me that I have a small dust cover and I tried it but it’s too small.
I more to build in this series and would prefer better covers.
Since I had to build the dust cover and keep one side covered so that it could be taped together. It meant that applying the glue was a bit hit and miss for me. I think the dust cover is disappointing.
I like this kit. Small and cute and still have a lot of details. I noticed you got glue on that dust cover. I have recently discovered the use of acetone to clean off excess glue. It gives a really nice and clean finish.
Your little coffee shop looks lovely and cozy when the light is on. I hope you can find a dust cover that would fit your builds, the glue is quite distracting for me too.
In this case, it was the spinning wheel of destiny that chose it. I’m not sure how I feel about the red couch. I feel like it would fit in with a period library, but if I decide to modernise it a bit, then the red wont work.
