Today was a lovely autumn crafting day with a friend of mine. We had the option to make ROKR flowers, but since she really enjoys painting, we ended up painting pumpkin mugs instead. She paints canvas art and has a natural talent for it, so of course she finished hers beautifully. Mine… well, I’ll need to go back another day to complete it!
I went to spend some time with her and cheer her up, as she had surgery yesterday and was feeling a bit weak. I just wanted to support her and keep her company for a while. It felt really special to share a cozy, creative moment together.
This is the same friend who gifted me Kiki’s Magic Emporium for my birthday, so doing crafts with her always feels meaningful and inspiring.

It really is! Luckily, I can paint or do ceramics with her, for example, but she tried crochet and didn’t like it, and she says building kits is too difficult and doesn’t want to try. Such a shame
Oh well. I guess its all take time to get into people’s heart. For me personally it doesn’t take long. But some others take longer. May be one day she will find the enjoyment in building it.
