It’s finally done! 
After all those tiny pieces, little stationery items, displays, and a few moments of “where is it?!” or “why isn’t this piece cooperating?”, the Wisdom Stationery Shop is finally ready for its grand reveal.
And I have to say, I really enjoyed building this one.
One of the things I love most about this kit is the amount of detail. There are so many little stationery pieces and paper elements to put together, and I loved seeing the shelves slowly fill up with all those tiny notebooks, papers, displays, and other bits and pieces.
Which probably isn’t surprising because I absolutely love stationery shops. 
I could honestly spend an entire day in one—just wandering around, looking at notebooks, paper, pens, stickers, and all the little things I didn’t know I needed until I saw them.
One of my favorites is G.Itoya in Ginza, Tokyo, which has 12 floors of stationery, writing, paper, art, and creative goodies.
Twelve floors.
Of stationery.
You can imagine how long I’d happily stay there.
So this little miniature stationery shop was pretty much right up my alley.
The Good & The Not-So-Good
The good?
The details. The design. The sheer number of tiny stationery pieces and displays.
I love how much there is to look at. Even after finishing it, I keep noticing little things I hadn’t really appreciated while I was building it.
And I especially love that it feels like a real little stationery shop rather than just a miniature room filled with furniture. It has shelves, displays, products, paper goods… all the things that make stationery shops so much fun to browse.
The not-so-good?
There was one board in particular that gave me quite a bit of trouble.
Practically every piece I removed from that board had its top layer separate from the rest. Some pieces only separated partially, which was relatively easy to glue back together. But most of them came apart completely, so I had to carefully glue the layers back together one by one.
Let’s just say… that was not the most relaxing part of the build.
And then there was the missing flower… which turned out to be hiding inside the chimney piece the entire time. 
I only discovered it when I sliced the chimney into pieces—and suddenly the whole thing made sense. No wonder that part was so difficult to cut!
I’m still wondering if that was a packaging issue and whether tiny pieces like that might be better placed in their own little bags, like the tiny screws and hardware.
Of course, by then I’d already made two replacement flowers from air-dry clay. So now I had an unexpected bonus flower with nowhere to go.
But I wasn’t about to let the long-lost flower disappear into the build after all that drama.
So I found it a place.
Front and center.
Right on the little stage.
Honestly, after everything that flower went through, I think it earned the spotlight.
I also have to admit that some of my frustration was probably my own fault.
I was so excited to see everything come together that I didn’t always take my time. I rushed through some parts… or, let’s be honest, a lot.
And if I were given another chance to build this kit, I definitely wouldn’t rush it. I’d take more time with the finishing touches, especially painting the edges of the furniture, walls, and other pieces. I think those little details would make an already beautiful kit even better.
So yes, there were a few hiccups along the way. But nothing was beyond saving, and I managed to put everything back together.
And despite those little frustrations, I absolutely love how this one turned out.
From the first few pieces that barely looked like anything, to slowly adding all the stationery and displays, and finally seeing the whole shop come together…
this was such a fun little world to build.
And I think I can officially say…
this one is now my favorite.
