Whimsical Thursday 10 & Global Festival Activity 6 & Giveaway | A Movie Scene Inside Your Mini World 🍿

:sparkles: If I could turn any movie scene into a miniature world, it would absolutely be inspired by Coco.

I’ve always thought Día de los Muertos was such a beautiful tradition, celebrating loved ones through music, candles, flowers, photos, memories… and even pets :candle::orange_heart::paw_prints:

So I imagined a tiny handcrafted altar/book nook filled with glowing candles, marigolds, sugar skulls, papel picado, little family photos, and cozy warm lighting. I wanted it to feel magical, emotional, and comforting, like a tiny world full of remembrance and love.

Honestly, I would build this SO fast if it were a real Rolife kit :sob::sparkles:

Oh there is just so many movies I love!!!

I’m going to go with the most recent I’ve seen: project Hail Mary. So much potential scene that would make wonderful miniatures, be it inside the Hail Mary ship, Erid beach, or just the ship in space.

Like, the inside the ship one would be my first idea. I imagine the little cluttered space, all the tools, the spaceship parts, and the little tunnels that Rocky added. And of course Rocky in his ball would be the heart of the display!

But it’s so difficult to chose, there’s just so many good movies that would do wonderful as kits!!!

I think there are many scenes from the Wizard of Oz that would be great, but the first one that comes to mind is when they first enter the castle (that’s a horse of a different color!). So much going on, vibrant colors, it’d be great!!

I built one that is similar to a Coco theme before. Gosh!! Our minds definitely think alike!!:smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Its definitely a show to watch if you like mystery, humor and lessons on medicine. Maomao (the figurine you have there) is my favorite character  Season 3 is coming out soon! They have the first season on Netflix

When I was younger, me and my sisters really bonded over watching the How to Train Your Dragon series. We’ve watched the movies and TV series many times over and I feel like a scene from this series would really be beautiful. It just reminds me of being a kid and being able to imagine a world with dragons in it.

I’m not participating this time as I already own this book nook but I’m so happy to see so many Studio Ghibli builds here! :pink_heart: I would’ve gone for the same thing too!

Good point haha! I’ll see if I can find the time to come up with a prompt, just for fun! :pink_heart:

I’m really into Disney movies and have so many favorites in mind! But two stand out the most — Rapunzel’s tower with its glowing lanterns, and the Little Mermaid’s enchanting grotto. :ocean::sparkles:

My favorite scene is the comet moment from Your Name. I’m such an anime enthusiast, and that scene truly stands out as one of my all-time favorites.
