You can see that all you want on Facebook and other apps. This community is called the Robotime Community Forum for a reason.
And if we start to allow mention of many other hobbies or topics that are unrelated to miniatures, this community will turn into being just like Facebook. @Robotime
I just thought of an idea for the Rokr line of products. How about sports stadiums? Those would be so fun to build!!! Football, soccer, baseball…it could be a sports series of the most famous stadiums around the world.
I absolutely love the crafty activities more than anything, sharing our own builds is my favorite part about this community as we can find people that understand and are interested in our hobbies. I do hope there could be some activities that can include diys to make our own tiny pieces, I do particularly enjoy those
This is my #1 ask! There are so many men in my life (and women!) who are huge sports fans and would love a miniature version of their favorite venue. There might be licensing issues, but I love the idea of a miniature Fenway Park, etc.
If we had basic stadiums (stadia?) we could also mod them for things like concerts and other events - the possibilities are endless when you add all the events held at the various venues.
I would also love cities like New Orleans, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Boston!
I absolutely love your idea. My friends are all a rainbow of ethnicities and races and I would love to give them personalized gifts of completed kits that reflect their heritage.
Not to mention that a wider variety of kits would bring more people to the hobby!
Thanks for your post - it is such an excellent thought.
Love this! So many concerts could be memorialized with such customizable kits. What a fabulous idea.
Thank you. For me , I am not happy to build the kit only but I want to make a kit that is “my “ built
And yes there must be a concert u would like to remember or a living room that full of continue u loved ![]()
I’ve been following the Weekend Glow and Whimsical Thursday series closely and they’ve become a highlight of my week. These prompts do more than just start a conversation instead they provide a “little spark of imagination” that often leads to real-world creativity. It has also recently inspired me to step away from the usual store-bought gifts and hand-paint a custom silver tote bag for my nephew. That prompt gave me the push to create something “rare” and meaningful, turning a simple craft into a symbol of love.
What I’d Like to See Next
For Weekend Glow Activity: I would love to see a theme centered around “Gifts of Love.” Many of us build or craft things specifically to gift to family members (like a customized bag I made for my nephew). Sharing the stories of why we chose a specific gift and the recipient’s reaction would be incredibly heart-touching.
For Whimsical Thursday: I would love a theme called “The Beauty of the Reset.” Sometimes our first attempt doesn’t give us the desired results (as you guys can see on below image), and we have to wash the canvas and start over. I’d love to hear stories of how a “failed” start actually led to a much deeper, more emotional final piece.
Also It would be fun if we had a challenge where we show a “Work in Progress” and other community members suggest one tiny, whimsical detail to add to it.
I enjoy activities that are… rooted in storytelling. I love being able to explain the “why” behind my creations, like why I chose to paint two hands holding each other rather than just a random pattern.
I wish there were more… focus on the emotional connection we have with our tools and materials. Whether it’s the specific brush we use or a favorite silver bag, our materials have stories too.
Sometimes I feel… that the community is at its best when we share our “funny struggles.” Seeing that others also have to “wash and retry” makes the crafting world feel much more welcoming and human.
@vinay these are all wonderful ideas!
@Suzanne_Jones these are all great suggestions.
Glad you like sir, i think those would also help to make connections in community
The type of activities I enjoy the most:
The giveaways that you earn?! for example the giveaways that include solving puzzles or looking for diffrences in picture and even more the ones that need like some sort of action behind them and creativity like showing your most beautiful customized kit or piece of art, that would be so fun!!
What would I like more in the future:
More of these types of giveaways since as I stated before they’re the ones I enjoy most!! For example this one: I’m having the time of my life typing these reponses ![]()
And maybe more of occasional hard games?? Like solving a puzzle or locating a rolife kit in a picture (they don’t need prizes) but just for the love of it.
And if I remember correctly there was once a weekly activity or recycling stuff we find home to include it in miniatures, like mini challenges, even though I didn’t participate seeing everyone’s creations was so fun omg ![]()
I’d definitely love more mini challenges (taking your nanci on a trip for example or show us how you style your nanci,so that they don’t have to be kit related only)
The topics that I’d love to join:
The most intresting topic to me is the new releases?
so I don’t have much to talk about in here
The things that needs to be improved:
To be completely honest, this few months I feel like the community lost some of it’s sparkles since I joined last august, I feel like back then the competition for the leaderboard was not this bad, so everyone who used to post would do it for fun and I genuinely used to love surfing throught them because it felt like they had the authors soul in them somehow??
Now the competition is so intense if feels suffocating and with all due respect a lot of the posts getting up feel more like they’re for the sake of point farming rather than the love of the game, ex: the multiple updates about a single kit and each update has basically nothing new to offer?
I don’t know where things started getting wrong, probably with the upgrade of the leaderboard or maybe just the community getting bigger in general so I’m just not used to the new faces and miss the lighthearted fun community that I was used to with my old people
A trick to improve that would be maybe having a certain theme each week? for example for this week we choose colors and people show their customized kits, another we choose the necessary tools or setups that can improve your building experience (I know these would not bring a fundamental change and people have been posting about these subjects so they’re not a solution) or maybe more interactive topics such as showcasing things from our daily lives that are unkown to other people, maybe our cultures, food and things similair that gives people the urge to talk or post for fun more?? Because nothings brings life to a community more than its members coming together to genuinely discuss certain topics.
That’s it I hope I wasn’t rude and that my answers would be helpful even a little <<33
Edit: I’ve just read the earlier comments and I’m so glad that the members agree with me ![]()
(which means I should’ve changed my reply or added something new but this is all I can come up with
)

Firstly, I would like to say that I am so happy to be part of this community. It is my first time to join a hubby club, and I am glad about my decision to join. I love the interaction and the cultural exchange between the members.
I would suggest to come up with Rolife classroom and hospital. There are way too many restaurants and shops already.
Thank you so much @Robotime , it is a pleasure to help & build a community better than ever, I am really thankful that my comment has been considered for this recognition.
And congratulations to my co-winners
, keep inspiring guys
Thanks a lot @Sasa , have a nice day
